Principles of Health Science

This course has two broad objectives: expose students to the topics of the Medical and Health Science field while also promoting career readiness skills. In this course, topics include anatomy & physiology, first aid, medical ethics, careers, nutrition, overall wellness, and more. Students in Principles of Health Science will learn valuable career skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and how to implement scientific evidence for decision-making.

This is a required prerequisite for all future Medical and Health Science classes.
