Automotive Technology II builds upon the knowledge and skills learned during Automotive Technology I. Automotive Technology II student is expected to diagnose the major components of a vehicle. Students will locate, read, and interpret documents such as schematics, charts, diagrams, graphs, parts catalogs, and service-repair information and technical bulletins. They will be expected to employ critical-thinking skills and structured problem-solving skills to diagnose vehicle malfunctions, solve problems, and make decisions. The focus of this course is for the student to apply the technical knowledge and skills required to perform service and repair on an actual vehicle.
