The practicum course furthers the learning progression of the health science student by providing an invaluable opportunity to see firsthand what it’s like to work as a healthcare professional. Students divide their time between the classroom and the real world. Students wear scrubs and engage in activities such as community health education as well as job shadowing at nursing facilities, medical clinics, and hospitals. Students also learn, practice, and have the opportunity to get certified as an ECG Technician
