This strongly project-based activity aims at supporting the students that are about to graduate in the management of the practical part of their final project.
Rather than an actual course, the synthesis workshop is a set of activities that are deeply characterised by and planned around the final projects. The students have the possibility to attend front lessons that are strictly related to their chosen projects’ themes, as well as reviews dedicated to their specific projects held by professionals in the industries of reference.
Such activities are planned after the approval of the final projects, so that the professors’ work can be as customised as possible, and the students can receive very targeted support, optimising the outcomes and quality of their work. Depending on the individual cases, group lessons will alternate with individual review sessions.
The total credits for this course are 12, divided as follows:
SCENE DESIGN FOR EVENTS: 4 CFA
DIRECTION OF EVENTS: 4 CFA
VIDEO INSTALLATION FOR EVENTS: 4 CFA
The learning goals can vary a lot depending on the projects, which can be very different from one another depending on their discipline. Generally speaking, they revolve around the ability to synthesise, in form of a project, the ideas conveyed in written form by the thesis work.
The contents of all activities are mainly focused on carrying out the students’ final projects, and are devised on the basis of the received proposals.
Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects to be developed.
Front lectures
Active participation to classes through debates
Exercises and revisions
There is no assessment for these activities, since the goal of the synthesis workshop is to aid and support the project phase of the final work. However, qualification will be assessed by the professor of reference.
