APPROACH
Theoretical/project based

This course provides the students with basic skills in hand drawing, investigating its many sides from graphic techniques to pictorial techniques, until technical drawing.

This course is made of a single module of 10 CFA credits.

Successful students will be able to:

• Make use of hand drawing techniques

• Make use of pictorial and graphic techniques at a professional level

• Create sketches for scenes and costumes

• Develop executive drawings by hand

• Creation of professional-quality sketches

• Experimentation with different pictorial techniques

• Drawing of final sketches for scenes and costumes

• Technical drawing

• Photoshop editing of hand drawings

This is a theoretical/project based course.

Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects to be developed.

• Front lectures

• Use of tutorials, videos or other multi-media material

• Exercises and revisions

• Laboratories

• Individual or group projects

• Individual or group study and research

Assessment tools may include:

• Oral exams

• Submission of papers, projects or research work
