Theoretical
The course, focused on the research and use of words to express thoughts, draws the attention to the many disciplines that intersect the sense and meaning of humans and bodies.
This course is made of a single module of 6 CFA credits.
Successful students will be able to:
Acquire the necessary theoretical, historic and cultural tools to decode and understand the cross-disciplinary nature of the history of costume and of the current fashion system
Introduction to the history of anthropology
Anthropology applied to the history of costume as cultural expression
History of beauty and ugliness
This is a theoretical course.
Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the themes that will be developed.
Front lectures
Students engagement in debates, presentations, peer assessment
Use of tutorials, videos or other multi-media material
Exercises and revisions
Individual study and research
