APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
This course, divided in two modules, provides the necessary tools to conceive the staging of an exhibition. Technical drawings and visualisations will be created with the use of 2D and 3D drawing software applications.
The total credits for this course are 10, divided as follows:
3D VISUALISATIONS FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS: 5 CFA
CAD DESIGN FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS: 5 CFA
Successful students will be able to:

Model their own staging project
Create professional renders
Identify the most suitable graphic line for a specific client
CAD DESIGN FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS:
Understand the needs of an exhibition space
Develop a feasible creative staging proposal
Manage the executive part of a project
3D VISUALISATIONS FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS:
Architectural modelling
Experimentation with personal creative graphic lines to carry out the rendering phase
Use of rendering techniques for visualisations and sketches
Use of Photoshop for post-production
CAD DESIGN FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS:
Analysis of the given architectural space
Development of a staging idea
Drawing of map, section, and executive drawings
This is a theoretical/project based course.
Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects to be developed.
Front lectures
Use of tutorials, videos or other multi-media material
Exercises and revisions
Laboratories
Individual or group projects
Individual or group study and research
Assessment tools may include:
Oral exam
Comprehensive projects
