APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
The course outlines a learning, research and creation path starting from the symbolic use of body and space experiences, also taking inspiration from different cultural traditions.
This course is made of a single module of 6 CFA credits.
Successful students will be able to:
Know the history of performances and of the main artists
Understand and experiment with the symbolic use of body and space experiences, also taking inspiration from different cultural traditions
Body experimentation, physical training, investigation of the symbolic value of signs, individual or collective improvisation, creation of micro-installation, experimentation in front of an audience if possible
Viewing of shows and performances as planned at the beginning of the academic year following the professor’s suggestions, based on the programmes of museums, art centres and theatres
This is a theoretical/project based course.
Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects to be developed.
Front lectures
Use of tutorials, videos or other multi-media material
Exercises and revisions
Laboratories
Individual or group projects
Individual or group study and research
Assessment tools may include:
Oral exam
Submission of papers, essays or project work
