APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
This course is divided in two modules. The first module, set design for media and events, provides the students with advanced tools for the planning of temporary events: exhibitions, display windows, conventions. The second module, projects for media and events, introduces the students to the conception of a project for a brand to be defined.
The total credits for this course are 10, divided as follows:

PROJECTS FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS: 3 CFA
Successful students will be able to:

Analyse the client’s requests
Devise a proposal starting from the client’s brief
Be aware of the available space for the project, in relation to the people interacting with it
Create images, maps, sections and executive drawings to present the project
PROJECTS FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS:
Analyse the identified brand
Devise a proposal starting from the client’s brief
Be aware of the available space for the project, in relation to the people interacting with it
Create a presentation illustrating all the project contents
SET DESIGN FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS:
Development of a moodboard
Development of a project idea
Creation of scale models
Creation of maps, sections and executive drawings using CAD software applications
Creation of images for the presentation of the project
PROJECTS FOR MEDIA AND EVENTS:
Analysis of the identified brand and location

Creation of a PowerPoint presentation of the project
This is a theoretical/project based course.
Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects to be developed.
