Self-introduction is basically a question that must be asked during the interview. It mainly tests the communication skills of the candidates. The candidates can prepare the content of their self-introduction in advance and make it not too long or too short.
自我介紹是面試時基本上必答的問題,主要考驗求職者的對話及表達能力,求職者可事先準備好自我介紹的內容,切勿過長或過短。

Candidates can analyse their own strengths before the interview, highlight their strengths that are relevant to the job and illustrate them with examples.
求職者可事先分析自己的優點,了解職位內容,盡量回答與工作相關的優點,並以例子作為解釋。
What are your shortcomings 你的缺點是什麼?
Candidates should know their weaknesses in advance. If asked about their weakness, it is better to admit your own and explain further how to improve these areas.
求職者可事先分析自己的弱點,在表達個人的缺點後,應作進一步解釋將如何改善問題。
How would you describe yourself 你會如何形容你自己?
Candidates can understand the culture and background of the company before the interview and compare them with their own personality to answer this question.
求職者可在面試前了解公司營運文化和背景,與自己的性格特質作比較,從而更貼切地回答問題。
Why do you want to apply for this position/program 為什麼想申請這個職位/課程?
Candidates need to have a clear understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of the job and explain why you are suitable for this position.
求職者需清楚了解應徵職位的要求和職責,解釋為何適合此職位。
Why are you interested in our company/Institute 為什麼對我們公司/學校感到興趣?
Employers may be curious about the reasons why candidates choose their company, as well as the enthusiasm of candidates for this job, so candidates can collect information about the company on the Internet before the interview.
僱主可能會對求職者選擇他們公司的理由感到好奇,也可了解求職者對這份工作的熱情,因此求職者可事先在網上搜集有關應徵公司的資料。
Why do we need to hire you 為什麼我們要聘用你?
This question is mainly to test the ability of candidates to respond to the situation. Candidates can think about what they can contribute to the company and why they are suitable for this position.
這條問題主要是考驗求職者的臨場應變能力,求職者在解答時可思考自己能夠為公司帶來什麼、為什麼適合這個職位。
What expectations/plans do you have for yourself in the next 5 years
在未來5年內,你對自己有什麼期望和規劃?
It is important to let the employers know about candidates’ future job planning. Clear goals and plans can often show the enthusiasm of candidates.
讓僱主了解求職者對於往後的工作及規劃,清晰的目標和規劃往往能夠表達出求職者對工作的積極性。
What activities do you like to do in your spare time 你在空餘時間喜愛做什麼活動?
Employers may not really want to know the interests of candidates, but through the interest and hobbies, they can get some ideas about their attitude towards work.
僱主可能並不是真的想了解求職者的興趣,而是透過興趣和愛好來了解求職者對工作的態度。

Candidates can prepare 1-2 questions to express their enthusiasm and interest to the job.
