Duties 職責

The clinical psychologist is a specialized medical professional, mainly for serving abnormality or the mental illness patient. Unlike psychiatrists, clinical psychologists cannot treat patients with medicine. The main tasks of a clinical psychologist include:

臨床心理學家是專職醫護人員，主要服務對象為心智行為異常的人或精神病患者。與精神科醫生不同，臨床心理學家不能對病人用藥。臨床心理學家的主要工作包括：

Responsible for psychological assessment of patients, psychotherapy and coordination of rehabilitation services

負責病人心理評估的工作，給予心理治療，並負責協調復康服務

Assist, plan and coordinate clinical psychological services in the context of health services, including the development of assessment methods

在健康服務的範疇內協助、策劃及協調臨床心理服務，包括研製評估方法

Participate in the planning and development of health teaching materials / educational activities and the implementation of health promotion activities

參與策劃及研製健康教材／教育活動，及推行健康促進活動

Participate in health and psychology research

參與健康及心理學研究

Offer psychology related training for health care professionals and junior staff

為醫護專業人員及初級員工提供與心理學相關的培訓

Working hours 工作時間

About 44-55 hours a week, may vary depending on medical establishments

Entry requirements 入職條件

A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from any university in Hong Kong, or equivalent

持有香港任何一所大學頒授的臨床心理學碩士學位，或具備同等學歷；以及

Fluent in Cantonese and English

能操流利粵語及英語。

If you are working in a government organization, you need to pass the Common recruitment examination (CRE) with Grade 1 results in the use of Chinese and English or equivalent
如在政府機構工作，需在綜合招聘考試(CRE)中，中文運用及英文運用取得一級成績，或同等學歷
