What is SALSA Scheme 甚麼是學生運動員學習支援及入學計劃?

To further step up the regime for supporting outstanding Hong Kong student-athletes, the University Grants Committee (UGC) has launched the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission Scheme (SALSA Scheme) to support outstanding athletes who aspire to pursue dual-track career developments in the eight UGC-funded universities.

為進一步加強支援香港傑出學生運動員，大學教育資助委員會（教資會）推出「學生運動員學習支援及入學計劃 」，支持有意作雙軌發展的傑出運動員。

The SALSA Scheme will facilitate the admission of outstanding Hong Kong athletes and provide support to them at UGC-funded universities as follows:

建基於過去數年在香港體育學院與教資會資助大學所簽署的合作備忘錄下取得的成果，學生運動員計劃為香港傑出運動員入讀教資會資助大學提供便利，並為他們提供下列的支援：

• Admission: The UGC-funded universities will introduce direct admission schemes or streamline existing admission channels targeted for prospective students with remarkable achievements in sports; and

入學方面：教資會資助大學將特別為在體育方面具有非凡成就的準學生推出直接錄取計劃或優化現有入學渠道；及

• Learning support: The UGC-funded universities will offer personalised support to student-athletes at central and individual levels, such as the appointment of Student-Athlete Support Coordinators for one-stop guidance and support from admission to graduation, as well as additional personal teaching assistants to enhance academic support for student-athletes at the individual level.

學習支援方面：教資會資助大學將在中央及個人層面為學生運動員提供專屬支援，例如透過聘任學生運動員支援統籌專員，為學生運動員由入學至畢業提供一站式指導及支援。大學亦將增聘個人教學助理，加強對每位學生運動員在學業上的支援。
