LEMONADE DAY
Join us for 3rd-5th grade Lemonade Day this Thursday, May 26th from 1:00-2:30pm!
Lemonade Day is just ONE of the amazing programs our girls can participate in thanks to what they earn through Girl Scout cookie sales. Through their cookie profits, we are able to purchase supplies for each classroom for Lemonade Day. Every year, each class determines their budget and makes a list of the supplies to purchase: cups, straws, fruit, sugar, water, ice, fancy umbrellas, secret ingredient and supplies to make their stand pop and create the most tasty lemonade treat!
Every year we celebrate Lemonade Day and honor our late co-founder by participating in her favorite STEAM project. Ms. Turner loved this project because of how it brought ALL of the components of STEAM together. And it doesn't stop there, each year our Brownie troops participate in the Journey Brownie Quest, where they learn about what it means to give back.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
3rd-5th Lemonade Day: Sign-up on Voly!
STAND ROTATION
On Thursday, in honor of Ms. Turner, 3rd-5th grade scholars may wear a
yellow shirt or their Girl Scouts shirt.
The form will be closed daily at 3pm. Parents needing to make an emergency change after this time should call the office at 972-749-4300.
