A MESSAGE FROM
Principal Santos
Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who helped to make the COVID Vaccine Clinic a success on Saturday! There will be one more opportunity to get 5-11 year-olds vaccinated on November 20th. (see flyer below). During this month of gratitude I would like to thank all of the parent leaders who have taken our parent organizations to new heights this year and have provided feedback and support along the way to ensure that we are consistently moving in the right direction and learning and growing along the way. From coordinating events to supporting and celebrating our teachers, providing opportunities for sports, health, safety, swag and giving back, thank you for going above and beyond to support our community and help us shine brightly!
Check out who has been celebrated this week!

Being an amazing fourth grade teacher!
Haley Ribeiro
My daughter comes home from school glowing. The other day she said her day was “even better than her birthday!” Ms. Ribeiro had complimented her math skills during math circle, which she has honed immensely since starting Kinder at Solar. I am so glad she is a part of the Solar family and very thankful for Ms. Ribeiro for making her classroom such an inclusive place.
Gabriela Armijo
Ms. Armijo goes out of her way to make sure that our girls feel loved while also challenging them to work up to their full potential! My daughter loves school and loves to learn! We credit her teacher for that! Thank you, Ms. Armijo, for all you do!
Claudia Capetillo
Ms. Capetillo is invested in making sure each of her students works up to their full potential. She believes in them and thanks to her, they also believe in themselves. We are so thankful for her!!
Marisol Reyna
We are so grateful to have Ms. Reyna in our daughter's life! Our child started her first in-person school year full of fears and anxiety. Ms. Reyna has gone above and beyond to help build our daughter's confidence and communicate with us about both her education and well-being. Thank you, Ms. Reyna!
