PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Over the last two years we have learned a great deal about resilience as we have navigated through challenge after challenge and weathered the storm of uncertainty. As each week goes by, I have become more aware of the fact that this is not only one of the longest storms we have ever weathered, but it has also really inserted itself into some pretty significant years our lives. The last thing I want is to look back and think about how I spent each day of those significant years just trying to "get through the storm." So for now, I choose to make each day intentional and create those joyful moments that bring purpose and meaning to each day. As we continue use the wisdom from experience to help us become the best versions of ourselves this semester, our pledge is to be intentional about the way that these experiences shape who we become. While the uncertainty and challenges will likely continue through the spring, may we continue to look for possibility, purpose and be more intentional about creating JOY for ourselves and for our Solar family.
We look forward to scheduling parent conferences the first week of February and celebrating the growth our girls have made and setting high expectations for how much growth we know they will make this spring. Teachers will post conference times next week on their weekly newsletter. Please call the office with any questions. Have a wonderful rest of the week!!
WE NEED YOUR HELP! In an effort to streamline the dismissal change procedure and lessen wait times when calling the front office, parents will be asked to submit dismissal changes via Google Form beginning January 5. The form will be closed daily at 3pm. Parents needing to make an emergency change after this time should call the office at 972-749-4300.
WE NEED FEEDBACK FROM EVERYONE!!
