The story of The 100 follows a post apocalyptic Earth. Nuclear bombs were launched causing a deadly amount of radiation to be put into the air. Fast-forward 97 years into the future to a city in the sky that people fled to in the time the bombs were being launched. It is running out of air, so in an effort to try to find a solution the council decides to send 100 juvenile delinquents down to Earth to see if it is survivable; however they aren't alone on the seemingly abandoned planet.

I give this book five stars because not only does the series give you a questioning look into the future, it gives you an interesting read and has an amazing romantic story that will give you the swoon the Titanic didn't give us. But that movie is still pretty great.
