Summary

A demigod named Percy Jackson is trying to start off his year like a normal person, and is attending a tour of a high school when he is attacked by two monsters disguised as cheer leaders. He slayed the first successfully, but the second burst into flames and burned the school down. After this event the police are looking for him and he has to go off to Camp Half Blood where demigods can take refuge. Here he is assigned a quest and now must conquer the Labyrinth in order to save the world.

Review

I gave this book five stars because I just couldn't stop reading it; the 341 pages took me a week and a half to read.
