One boy and one girl from each district go into an arena and fight til' death. The last district standing wins. During selection day, Prim's name is chosen to go fight. Katniss can't bear to see her sister go into the arena. As soon as she hears her sisters' name get called, she volunteers as tribute! This book deserves five stars. I gave it this rating because the book was very well written with an amazing plot. I recommend this book for anyone who likes adventure and suspense. I also recommend this book for kids seventh grade and up because of the use of strong violence.
