In the Ranger's Apprentice: Kings of Clonmel, a cult called the Outsiders is secretly taking over the five Kingdoms of Clonmel. The leader, Tennyson, poses as a disciple from the god Alseiass. He goes from village to village preaching about his Golden God, and he gets many followers. The villages that don't agree with Tennyson are usually attacked. Tennyson's plan was to peacefully preach in each kingdom until he was more respected than their king. Will and Halt must stop him as he makes his way to the last kingdom, Dun Kilty.

Review
I gave this book five stars because even though this is the eighth book in the "Ranger's Apprentice" series, the characters are still developing. John Flanagan does an amazing job to keep the reader engaged. He also makes many scenarios relatable. I would recommend this book from ages 12- 15.
