Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won the 74th Hunger Games. They are from District 12. In the games a male and female are chosen to be in the games. The winners of the previous games have to be in the next ones. So, Katniss and Peeta have to train for the 75th Hunger Games. President Snow and Katniss hate each other. President Snow thought that what she did in the end of the first book was too rebellious. So President Snow tries to kill her family unless she does something. Read the book to find out more.

I chose 5 stars for this because it was filed with action. The book also has a good story line. The book also had many conflicts that were intense. The book does have some strong language in it. Also it is a mature book for kids. I would recommend this book to a 7th grader and up.
