Announcements

1. Cluster Charge Conference: November 1st at 1:30pm at Madison UMC.

2. Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon Nov 8 after 11am service in the Fellowship Hall: Bring a dish or dessert to share. If you are interested in bringing a main dish, such as turkey, ham, or chicken, please email Susan Vroman at ssvroman@comcast.net.  

3. Chancel Choir: Anyone interested in joining the choir as they look to the future contact Suzie Taylor at sptaylor200@gmail.com. Choir meets Sundays after the 11am service in the Sanctuary.

4. UWF Discount Cards: new discount cards are available in the church office or see Bonnie on Sunday morning. Cards are still only $10 & will be good thru the end of 2027.

5. November 1st : Tired from a night of Halloween fun? Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to worship.

6. Youth Hand Chimes: Sunday November 8th & 22nd at 3:15pm in the Music Suite.

7. IGNITE Youth Group: Sunday November 8th & 22nd at 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall. 

8. Fall Family Sunday School: Sunday November 15th at 10:15am at the Pavilion. Join us between the pavilion for Family Sunday School. All ages, children, youth, and adults are welcome for some good old fashioned family fun.

9. Next Gen Choir meets Wednesdays: Pk-1st grade at 4pm, 2nd-5th grade at 4:30pm, and youth at 5:15pm in the Music Suite.

10. UWF Christmas Bazaar: Saturday, November 7th 9am-2pm: Enjoy a festive selection of vendors offering unique crafts, gifts, and seasonal items — just in time for the holiday shopping season.

11. UWF Bazaar Bake Table: We are accepting baked goods donations to be sold by our volunteers. If you would like to contribute, there is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Please drop off your items in the Church kitchen on Friday, November 6th 3pm-6pm or Saturday November 7th at 7am.

12. PHOTOS REQUESTED: We want to see YOU in the Directory & in the database.  If you have not had your picture taken at the recent photo shoots here at the church, you can still be included.  Simply EMAIL a photo of yourself and each family member (that clearly shows FACES) to accounting@culpeperumc.org.  JPEG format, not a huge file if possible.  Just email the photo(s) of your choice, and we'll see if it works.  Identify each person in the photo(s) please.  We really want a picture of what you look like now. 

13. Food Closet: Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products. This week the focus is: chunky soup, canned pasta, toothpaste, canned chicken, canned pineapple, rice (1pound bags). Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community. 

14. Power Pack: CUMC has been asked to donate Ramen noodle packets again this year. If you can add that to your weekly shopping list, it would be greatly appreciated.
