Announcements

• FLAMES Meeting: Monday July 20th at 6pm in the library. 

• IGNITE Youth Serving at Manna Ministry: Wednesday July 22nd 9:30am-12pm. We’ll meet at Manna to spend the morning serving meals to our community. Please email Cheyenne to let her know you’ll be coming; nextgen@culpeperumc.org.

• Kids Shopping for School Supplies July 22nd: Kids are invited to join us at the Culpeper Target at 4:30pm for our shopping trip.

• UWF Tea Meeting: Thursday July 23rd at 11am in the library.

• Sunday Summer Camp: Children are invited to join us for Sunday Summer Camp on July 26 from 10:15 - 12:00. Registration is required. For more information and to register, please visit https://bit.ly/CUMCCamp

• UWF Tea Saturday August 1st 12:30pm-2:30pm: please RSVP by July 28th. The sign-up sheet  is located on the table across from the elevator on the main floor outside the church office; this will help us know how many to prepare for. 

• Blessing of the Backpacks Sunday August 2nd: hard to believe that school will resume for the 2026-2027 school year very soon. Students are encouraged to bring their backpacks to either worship service to start you off the school year with a blessing from your church family.

• HUB Hygiene Kit Packing: Saturday August 8th at 8am in the Pavillon

• IGNITE Youth Car Wash Fundraiser: Saturday August 8th at 9am – 11am in the lower parking lot.

• IGNITE Youth Gathering: Sunday August 16th 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall

• Prayer Shawl Ministry: there will be NO MEETING in the month of July. Next gathering will be Tuesday August 18th in the Ladies Parlor.

• Summer Sunday School: Youth will continue to meet in room 215. Children ages 3 & potty trained - rising 5th graders will meet outside for playground Sunday School from 10:15 - 10:50. 

• Food Closet: with the state of the economy, many in our community have needed to visit the Food Closet as never before. There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products. This week the focus is: Pop Tarts, individual oatmeal packets, granola bars, cold cereal, canned fruit. Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community. 

Small Groups and Sunday School
