Announcements

• Roof repairs June 16-June 18: Please utilize caution/personal safety. Please do not enter the church building from the lower parking lot during the specified dates. There shouldn't be any roof activity on the front side of the church during this time. However, it would be good to look up before entering the building. 

• Highlights 2026: is now available online. Highlights 2026 is now available online.  The CUMC Highlights booklet gives an overview of the many missions, activities, operational roles, and all related contact information at Culpeper UMC.  Great resource for information and inspiration to join in the work of the church. • Church Softball: come out and support CUMC Tuesday June 16th at 6pm at Lenn Park. 

• Church Art Show: Children, youth, and adults of all ages and artistic abilities are invited to participate in our Church Art Show! Artwork will be displayed in the church library June 28–July 5. Please place artwork in the library by Sunday, June 21, and label each piece with the artist’s name. Artwork may be picked up after church on July 5.

• Next Gen Worship Club (Grades 4-12): through June 28 during the 11:00 Service, an optional, interest-based group for students who enjoy contemporary worship music. Students will be dismissed at the same time as Kids Connect, and will meet separately to listen, learn, and explore worship songs. 

• Summer Sunday School: Youth will continue to meet in room 215. Children ages 3 & potty trained - rising 5th graders will meet outside for playground Sunday School from 10:15 - 10:50. 

• VBS Training: Wednesday June 17th at 12pm & 5pm in the Sanctuary. You only need to attend one of the meetings.

• VBS Registration: Visit https://bit.ly/RainforstFallsVBS to register to participate or volunteer.

• Sunday Summer Camp: Children are invited to join us for Sunday Summer Camp on June 14 and July 26 from 10:15 - 12:00. Registration is required. For more information and to register, please visit https://bit.ly/CUMCCamp

• Prayer Shawl Meeting: June 16th at 10am in the Ladies Parlor.

• Women’s VBS: Monday June 29th & Tuesday June 30th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare is available with advanced notice. Contact Susan Vroman to sign up 540-718-1383

• Food Closet: There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products.
