Announcements

• Church Art Show: Children, youth, and adults of all ages and artistic abilities are invited to participate in our Church Art Show! Artwork will be displayed in the church library June 28–July 5. Please place artwork in the library by Sunday, June 21, and label each piece with the artist’s name. Artwork may be picked up after church on July 5.

• Next Gen Worship Club (Grades 4-12): through June 28 during the 11:00 Service, an optional, interest-based group for students who enjoy contemporary worship music. Students will be dismissed at the same time as Kids Connect, and will meet separately to listen, learn, and explore worship songs. 

• Summer Sunday School begins today May 31st: Youth will continue to meet in room 215. Children ages 3 & potty trained - rising 5th graders will meet outside for playground Sunday School from 10:15 - 10:50. 

• VBS Crafting Session: Wednesday June 3rd 10am in the Fellowship Hall.

• VBS Safety Team Meeting: Wednesday June 3rd at 6:30pm in Room 203.

• Youth Ministry: Join us for our Summer Late-In on June 5th from 4-8 PM. We’ll share a fire, games, devotion, and more.

• HUB Packing Event: June 5th in the Fellowship Hall & Pavillion at 8am.

• Splash Pad Meetup: June 7th 12:15pm-2pm at Rockwater Park. Families are welcome to meet us the splash pad; pack a lunch a towel or a chair.

• VBS Training: Wednesday June 17th at 12pm & 5pm in the Sanctuary. You only need to attend one of the meetings.

• Sunday Summer Camp: Children are invited to join us for Sunday Summer Camp on June 14 and July 26 from 10:15 - 12:00. Registration is required. For more information and to register, please visit https://bit.ly/CUMCCamp

• Food Closet: with the state of the economy, many in our community have needed to visit the Food Closet as never before. There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products. This week the focus is: sugar, flour, cornmeal, condiments (mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise), vegetable oil, rice side dishes, Spam. Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community. 

• Prayer Shawl Meeting: June 16th at 10am in the Ladies Parlor.

• Women’s VBS: Monday June 29th & Tuesday June 30th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare is available with advanced notice. Sign up: https://bit.ly/4cex96C
