Announcements

1. Church Softball Season has begun: come out and support CUMC this Tuesday April 28th at 6pm at Lenn Park.

2. CUMC Library Open House May 3rd: come explore the renovated library in between worship services and after the 11am services. 

3. CUMC Scholarship Opportunities: Graduating high school seniors interested in applying for any of the 3scholarships offered by CUMC should visit www.culpeperumc.org/scholarships for the applications. Applications are due April 30.

4. Easter Offering: during the month of April the Easter/Lenten offering will go towards the mission in Honduras. Please use the special envelopes in the pew pockets & write “Honduras” on the memo line of the check. 

5. Ignite Youth: Sunday April 26th at 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall.

6. VBS Registration is open! Visit https://bit.ly/RainforstFallsVBS to register to participate or volunteer.

7. Bingo Party - All ages are invited to a Bingo Party on April 26 from 5:15-6:30. The night is hosted by NextGen ministry in partnership with UWF. We'll play bingo, share dinner, and fellowship. 

8. Next Gen Worship Club (Grades 4-12): Begins May 17, through June 28 during the 11:00 Service, an optional, interest-based group for students who enjoy contemporary worship music. Students will be dismissed at the same time as Kids Connect, and will meet separately to listen, learn, and explore worship songs. 

9. Food Closet: There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. This week, the focus is: sugar, flour, cornmeal, condiments (mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup), vegetable oil, rice side dishes, Spam. Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community. 

10. Betty Newhouse Circle Spring Flea Market: will be held on Saturday May 2nd from 9am -1pm. (Rain date May 9th). Contact Ann to reserve a space, 540-547-2627.
