Announcements

1. PHOTOS REQUESTED: We want to see YOU in the Directory & in the database.  If you have not had your picture taken at the recent photo shoots here at the church, you can still be included.  Simply EMAIL a photo of yourself and each family member (that clearly shows FACES) to accounting@culpeperumc.org.  JPEG format, not a huge file if possible.  Just email the photo(s) of your choice, and we'll see if it works.  Identify each person in the photo(s) please.  We really want a picture of what you look like now. 

2. Leadership Team: are you interested in serving the church? Applications to be considered for the leadership team can be found on the table outside the church office or use this link  culpeperumc.org/leadership2026

3. HUB Hygiene Kit Packing: Saturday August 8th at 9am in the Pavillon

4. IGNITE Youth Car Wash Fundraiser: Saturday August 8th at 9am – 11am in the lower parking lot.

5. IGNITE Youth Gathering: Sunday August 16th & Sunday August 30th 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall

6. Youth Hand Chimes: Sunday August 16th , Sunday August 23rd  and Sunday August 30th at 3:15pm-4:45pm in the Music Suite.

7. Prayer Shawl Ministry: Tuesday August 18th in the Ladies Parlor.

8. UWF Meeting: Wednesday August 19th at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.

9. Sunday School Water Day, Sunday August 23rd: Help us wrap up Playground Summer Sunday School on August 23rd as we share water games and fun. Consider a towel or change of clothes, especially if you plan to worship at 11. 

10. Summer Sunday School: Youth will continue to meet in room 215. Children ages 3 & potty trained - rising 5th graders will meet outside for playground Sunday School from 10:15 - 10:50. 

11. Ministry Fair Sunday August 30th: there will not be Youth or Children's Sunday School , please stop by the tables in the Fellowship Hall in between worship services to get more info on the different small groups, mission/ministry opportunities, and Sunday school opportunities that are available.. 

12. Food Closet: with the state of the economy, many in our community have needed to visit the Food Closet as never before. There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products. This week the focus is: pasta, pasta sauce, Hamburger Helper, dried beans, chili, beef stew, canned vegetables. Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community.
