Announcements

1. Chancel Choir: Anyone interested in joining the choir as they look to the future contact Suzie Taylor at sptaylor@gmail.com 

2. UWF Discount Cards: new discount cards are available in the church office. Cards are still only $10 & will be good thru the end of 2027.

3. PHOTOS REQUESTED: We want to see YOU in the Directory & in the database.  If you have not had your picture taken at the recent photo shoots here at the church, you can still be included.  Simply EMAIL a photo of yourself and each family member (that clearly shows FACES) to accounting@culpeperumc.org.  JPEG format, not a huge file if possible.  Just email the photo(s) of your choice, and we'll see if it works.  Identify each person in the photo(s) please.  We really want a picture of what you look like now. 

4. Food Closet: Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products. This week the focus is: chunky soup, canned pasta, toothpaste, canned chicken, canned pineapple, rice (1pound bags). Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community. 

5. Power Pack: the school year has begun and CUMC has been asked to donate Ramen noodle packets again this year. If you can add that to your weekly shopping list, it would be greatly appreciated.

6. Youth Hand Chimes: Sunday October 18th at 3:15pm in the Music Suite.

7. IGNITE Youth Group: Sunday October 18th at 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall. 

8. Next Gen Choir meets Wednesdays: Pk-1st grade at 4pm, 2nd-5th grade at 4:30pm, youth at 5:15pm in the Music Suite.

9. HUB Packing Monday October 12th at 9am in the Pavillon, weather permitting; Fellowship Hall if the weather is prohibitive. 

10. UWF General Meeting: Wednesday October 14th at 11am in the Fellowship Hall

11. Prayer Shawl Meeting: Tuesday October 20th at 10am in the Ladies Parlor.

12. Worship Committee Meeting: Wednesday October 21st at 6pm in Room 203.

13. Fall Festival: Saturday October 24th 2pm-4pm see insert for more info.

14. UWF Christmas Bazaar: Saturday, November 7th 9am-2pm: Enjoy a festive selection of vendors offering unique crafts, gifts, and seasonal items — just in time for the holiday shopping season.

15. UWF Bazaar Bake Table: We are accepting baked goods donations to be sold by our volunteers. If you would like to contribute, there is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Please drop off your items in the Church kitchen on Friday, November 6th 3pm-6pm or Saturday November 7th at 7am.
