Announcements

1. Church Supper & Mission Conversation Wednesday May 27th  at 6pm Fellowship Hall: Join us for a fellowship supper as we share a meal and listen for where God is leading our church in this season. Over dinner, we’ll hear a brief introduction to Seven Practices for the Church on Mission—simple, faithful ways of being present with Christ, one another, and our community. Come hungry, curious, and ready to discern together how God is shaping us for faithful witness today.

2. Church Softball Season has begun come out and support CUMC Tuesday May 5th at 6pm at Lenn Park. 

3. Ignite Youth: Sunday May 17th at 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall.

4. VBS Registration is open! Visit https://bit.ly/RainforstFallsVBS to register to participate or volunteer.

5. Next Gen Worship Club (Grades 4-12): Begins May 17, through June 28 during the 11:00 Service, an optional, interest-based group for students who enjoy contemporary worship music. Students will be dismissed at the same time as Kids Connect, and will meet separately to listen, learn, and explore worship songs. 

6. FLAMES Care Team Meeting Monday May 18th at 6pm in the Library

7. Prayer Shawl Meeting: Tuesday May 19th at 10am in the Ladies Parlor

8. Summer Sunday School begins May 31st: Youth will continue to meet in room 215. Children ages 3 & potty trained - rising 5th graders will meet outside for playground Sunday School from 10:15 - 10:50. 

9. Sunday Summer Camp: Children are invited to join us for Sunday Summer Camp on June 14 and July 26 from 10:15 - 12:00. Registration is required. For more information and to register, please visit https://bit.ly/CUMCCamp

10. Food Closet: There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well personal hygiene products This week the focus is: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant. 

11. Youth Ministry: Join us for our Summer Late-In on June 5th from 4-8 PM. We’ll share a fire, games, devotion, and more.

12. Splash Pad Meet Up at Rockwater Park Sunday June 7th 12:15pm-2pm: Pack a lunch and join us at Rockwater Park for a Splash Pad meet up. Adults can chat, kids can splash. Never been to Rockwater? We recommend bringing a chair or blanket to sit on.
