Announcements

1. Leadership Team: are you interested in serving the church? Applications to be considered for the leadership team can be found on the table outside the church office or use this link  culpeperumc.org/leadership2026

2. UWF Tea Saturday August 1st 12:30pm-2:30pm: please RSVP by July 28th. The sign-up sheet  is located on the table across from the elevator on the main floor outside the church office; this will help us know how many to prepare for. 

3. Blessing of the Backpacks Sunday August 2nd: hard to believe that school will resume for the 2026-2027 school year very soon. Students are encouraged to bring their backpacks to either worship service to start off the school year with a blessing from your church family.

4. HUB Hygiene Kit Packing: Saturday August 8th at 9am in the Pavillon

5. IGNITE Youth Car Wash Fundraiser: Saturday August 8th at 9am – 11am in the lower parking lot.

6. IGNITE Youth Gathering: Sunday August 16th & Sunday August 30th 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall

7. Youth Hand Chimes: Sunday August 16th , Sunday August 23rd  and Sunday August 30th at 3:15pm-4:45pm in the Music Suite.

8. Prayer Shawl Ministry: Tuesday August 18th in the Ladies Parlor.

9. UWF Meeting: Wednesday August 19th at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.

10. Summer Sunday School: Youth will continue to meet in room 215. Children ages 3 & potty trained - rising 5th graders will meet outside for playground Sunday School from 10:15 - 10:50. 

11. Food Closet: with the state of the economy, many in our community have needed to visit the Food Closet as never before. There is a plastic bin in the Narthex where you can drop off donations. Any & all non-perishable food items would be most appreciated as well as personal hygiene products. This week the focus is: canned chicken, canned tuna, Ramen, canned soup, peanut butter, jelly, juice boxes. Let’s continue to be the hands & feet of Jesus in our community.
