Online Bible Study through Amplify Media 

Amplify Media is an online bible study resource at Culpeper UMC for individual, family and group learning.  With Amplify Media, you have FREE access to countless online bible study resources.  Amplify Media is available via their website as well as apps for Apple iOS, Android and Roku devices.  

To access Amplify Media, you will need to create an account.  Go to https://my.amplifymedia.com/ and click on the person icon on the top right and choose Enter Access Code.  Enter our Congregation Access Code:  WTXMVL and click the blue VERIFY button.  Create an account by entering your name, email address and password of your choosing.  Click Start a Free Membership at the bottom of the page to create your account.

Once your account is created, you can access Amplify Media from your computer's browser by going to https://my.amplifymedia.com/amplify and enter your login credentials.  You can also download an Amplify Media app from your devices through the appropriate online store.  Search for "Amplify Media" and login to your account to enjoy Amplify Media wherever you are.

• CUMC Preschool started this past Wednesday, August 14; teachers and students are very excited for the new year

• Kristin B. is blessed by the birth of her granddaughter, Eleanor Rose in Indiana on August 10th, and is thankful for the additions to the family from two of her nephews on August 5th and August 7th

• Kelly H. - ACL and meniscus surgery September 11

• Allen M. (close family friend of Kristen J.) - many health complications, ICU in Culpeper hospital

• Paula G. (from Jake) - brain tumor, surgery July 26

Health Concerns

• Norma (from Lynn G.) - cancer diagnosis

• Don (from Jessica S.) - long disease

• Jennifer H. (from Jamey W.) - severe ankle sprain unchanged, now has COVID

• Joyce I. - recovering from skin cancer surgery

• Jeanette J. - full healing of both wrists (tendon degeneration); it's been 8 months

• Sonny P.  - recently hospitalized, diagnosed with Vasovagal syncope in conjunction with dementia; now home

• Cheyenne's daughter Eden - diagnosed with chromosomal abnormality and muscular dystrophy.  Prayers to get imaging and cardiology appointment soon so she gets the support needed quickly.

• Lynn P.'s sister - health issues

• Helena B's husband Dan - PET scan shows more spots, possible MRI, appointment with doctor next week

• CJ - throat issues/breathing, upcoming tests

• Amy W. - surgery July 17 went well; allergic reaction, slower recovery

• Syd R. - congestive heart failure and PSA level is elevated

• Phyllis M.'s daughter-in-law Stacie - test came back negative, Praise God!  Continue to pray for other health issues.

• Belinda B. - increased respiratory issues (Dogwood)

• Kara  (Natalie B's college roommate) - had surgery June 12; surgeon feels good about the results and were able to remove all of the tumor

• Joe - ongoing tests for swallowing issue

• Lynn and Daryl's son Mark - many health concerns, returned to Alaska
