Shared network printers in computer classrooms and labs

Many computer lab classrooms and computer common areas have shared network printers available. These can be accessed from the desktop computers in that room, or from your personally-owned notebook computer. Here you will find the locations of these printers and step-by-step instructions for making a printer available for use on your personally-owned notebook computer.

Index of shared network printers for student printing

Many computer lab classrooms and computer common areas have shared network printers available. These can be automatically accessed from the desktop computers in that room.

Locations with printers include:

  • Aquinas 107

  • Hannan 134

  • Leahy LL50, LL51, 117*

  • McGivney LL13*

  • Pangborn 301, 302, 303

  • Pryzbyla Information Desk*

  • Shahan 302

* These are wheelchair-friendly areas, with elevators nearby, adjustable height desks (Leahy 117) and wide doors. Leahy 117 is open 24 hours a day and no classes are held there. McGivney LL13 is a lounge space with 5 computers, and you can print to the printer at Aquinas 107 and the Pryzbyla Information Desk from your own computer.

Please make sure there is no class in session before entering a classroom.

The printers are provided for use by current students, faculty and staff in support of the teaching, learning and research missions of the University. They are a shared technology. Please make sure that your use does not degrade the printing service for others. For example, please consider printing only when necessary, using two-sided printing, and printing small jobs only.
