This page describes the software installed on campus computers provisioned by Technology Services.
The "Office" software set is installed on computers in faculty and staff offices.
The "Classroom" software set is installed on computers in computer classrooms and labs, and is a superset of the "Office" set (except as noted).
This software is included on all Microsoft Windows desktop computers provisioned by Technology Services.

Technology Services deploys the software sets above through an automated system disk imaging process.
A configuration management agent (not listed above) is installed on each computer.
The software sets described above are updated annually. Software packages are added or dropped during these updates to meet current requirements, so please do check this page when you need to know the software packages included in the current sets.
Computers in classrooms and labs have the software set refreshed during the summer semester to be the current Classroom software set.
The software set on faculty/staff computers is refreshed to the current Office software set when the computer is first deployed, when the department requests it be re-provisioned for employee onboarding, as part of a regular refresh cycle, or when needed to resolve operational problems with the computer.
