Citipointe Church and other organisations on the campus may be placed under “lockdown” when an extraordinary event occurs which is an immediate threat to the lives or safety of Citipointe Church staff and any other organisations on campus including visitors. Such events may include:
A dangerous, unauthorized person on campus (with or without a weapon);
Gunshots fired, or gun sighted in or near the Campus;
An emergency situation occurring in the vicinity of the Campus.
An approaching dangerous storm or weather event.
Evidence of Need for a Lockdown
In the event that you witness a menacing person on campus grounds, or similar dangerous occurrence where the safety of staff and others are in jeopardy, please notify one of the following persons immediately and then call 000.

In the event of a lockdown, cafe staff should follow the instructions above, closing and locking all windows and doors, including the back kitchen door and Team Hub door into the Main Aud and ask all customers and staff to move into Team Hub. Ensure all blinds are closed and people all congregate to the corner away from the doors and away from the Aud windows.
