The Communications Officer is to ensure the Wardens communicate back to the Chief Fire Warden the state of their area (clear or not) and to keep all evacuated persons updated on the state of the emergency. 

Key roles include:

• Moving  to the Assembly Area to communicate with people 

• Keeping an open phone line with the Chief Fire Warden to receive updates

• Confirming when people are allowed to return to the building
