Workplace Health and Safety Online Training

The First Response Evacuation Instruction refers to the method of operation of manually operated fire alarms and fire fighting equipment in the building, including training and demonstration in the use of the fire alarms and fire fighting equipment. This information is covered in the Brisbane annual Fire Safety Meeting or the subsequent First Response online quiz for persons unable to attend the meeting and within the WHS Online Training.
Zone and Area Wardens are obliged to undertake training in their role every six months or as changes to buildings and systems take place.
Volunteers and staff involved in external events and services / meetings in our buildings will be briefed on the evacuation of the building prior to each event.
Children and Youth workers are trained in the safe evacuation of our children via the Working With Children Online Training and also frequently in pre-service and leadership meetings.
Contractors are advised in their on site Induction and at check in of emergency procedures.
Persons hiring our buildings are advised of our Evacuation and Lockdown procedures. (External Event Safety Procedures)
