Main Building - Weekday Evacuation

1. Alarm will sound or someone will be calling 'Fire Fire'.

2. Evacuate everyone from the building.

3. Area Warden's will SMS Zone Warden's the 'All Clear' for their area.

4. Zone Warden's will then SMS the 'All Clear' to the Chief Fire Warden once they have received confirmation from all Area Warden's that their area is fully evacuated.

5. After a Fire Drill - Area Warden's will report their findings (e.g. any issues that came up) to their respective Zone Warden's.
   The EPC and all Zone Warden's will attend a debrief straight after at the Qantas Lounges.

4. Call the Chief Fire Warden.

Main Building - Outside Office Hours: External Activity

1. Alarm will sound or someone will be calling 'Fire Fire'.

2. The external hirer has responsibility to work with the venue in the safe evacuation of the building.

3. Call 000.

4. Call the Chief Fire Warden.

Marketplace and Society House

1. Alarm will sound or someone will be calling 'Fire Fire'.

2. Designated Wardens to evacuate everyone from the building.

3. Call 000.

RECEPTION DUTIES IN THE EVENT OF A LOCKDOWN 

If you are asked to activate a lockdown, but the threat is imminent - take your phone and these instructions upstairs if you can or lock yourself in the cupboard and continue with the instructions.

Lockdown Procedure

2 Call 000.

“This is <insert name> from Citipointe Church. I am the receptionist. We have a lockdown situation here at Citipointe Church 322 Wecker Rd Carindale. We’ve spotted a <single male in a blue shirt with a machete, walking through our school grounds>. We’ve locked down our property.” 

3 Call Allyse to activate Citipointe SMS via Elvanto to shelter in place.

4 Call the Campus Emergency Contacts on your phone (see table)

“This is the Church. We have a lockdown situation. A man has been spotted with a machete in the school grounds. Please activate lockdown procedures.”
