AAA Elementary My School, My Museum is the recipient of the 2019-2020 Crayloa Champion Creatively Alive Children Grant!
AAA is THRILLED to be the recipients of the 2019-2020 Champion Creatively Alive Children Grant and are EXCITED to utilize the funding and crayola products for our innovative program, My School, My Museum program, with our partnering museum Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
The Champion Creatively Alive Children Grant assists schools to bring art-infused education into the classrooms. Crayola is a company dedicated to both the arts and education. Crayola believes that art-infused education engages studetns and results in robust, memorable learning.
As one of the winning schools of this grant we have a partnership with Crayola to make an impact in approaches to teaching and student learning. AAA has developed a Creative Leadership Team that has developed an innovative program that will strengthen our curriculum and inspire other educators’ creative capacity as well as other districts to implement art-infused education.
Please follow the My School, My Museum program during its pilot year. We highlight each month's Museum's visit and arts integration activity on this website. This is a EXTRAORDINARY opportunity for our elementary students and teachers. THANK YOU CRAYOLA!
