Infectious Diseases & Public Service Announcements

Students create a filmed Public Service Announcement (PSA) to enhance their learning of infectious diseases. 

Objective: Students will create public service announcements that enhance their ability to describe and recognize the symptoms of infectious diseases. Students will apply the elements of basic film-making in their short films. 

Outcomes: 

1. Students will understand the basic principles of film-making. 

2. Students will know the difference between a successful and un-successful PSA. 

3. Students will be able to create their own PSA. 

4. Students will be able to describe and recognize the symptoms of infectious diseases.
