Agnes Varda Inspired Films
Students take inspiration from Anne Varda's documentary, Faces Places, to create their own documentary. Each student selects an adult or young adult (not a family member or friend) to interview and documents that experience in film utilizing the principles of film making.

FACES PLACES
A documentary that follows director, Agnes Varda, and photographer and muralist, JR, as they travel through France.
Students watched Faces Places and inspired by Varda's documentary style, created their own documentaries. They interviewed a person in the community using Varda's techniques to tell the story.
Faces Places is currently available through Netflix streaming.
