Arts Integration

Arkansas Arts Academy

ARTS INTEGRATION is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both. *

AAA Night @ the Museum is a special event that celebrates the partnership between Arkansas Arts Academy and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

One evening each semester AAA students activate the galleries of the Museum with connections made between academic and fine art disciplines and works from the Museum's permanent collection. During the fall semester our core teachers develop creative projects allowing students to demonstrate their research and critical thinking skills tied to specific works of art. In the spring semester our students showcase their artistic talents and perform original works that are inspired by the art, architecture and natural setting throughout the Museum.

Unfortunately the AAA Night @ the Museum events for the 2020-2021 academic school year have been canceled due to COVID-19. We hope to have the fall event in October of 2021.
