There will be little time available for writing in this final week of the term. Ensure all your persuasive writing from earlier in the term is completed. If it is, you may select a topic to write about from the persuasive writing prompts.

Mr Hunt will score students in the competitive section against the scoring rubric below (see week 8).

The remainder of the class will be peer / teacher assessed using the Peer Feedback Scoring Sheet Opposite

This week you are to continue drafting, editing and rehearsing your persuasive speech.

Use the modelling slides for guidance, prompts and vocabulary.

Look at the scoring criteria. Make sure you have included these things.

Instructions

Make a mind-map plan in your literacy book for a recount about your term 2 holidays.

Include an introduction and 3-4 key events.

Edit your work and peer check with a buddy.

Early finishers are to publish their pepeha to display on the wall. A template is above.
