You have been transported to another planet and must write a postcard home to your friend. You may choose to do this on Google Drawing or in your Theme book.

Use the text you read about the solar system and Google to help you find information about your chosen planet.

Be sure to include in your postcard.

• Information about the planet.
• What is the temperature?
• How long does it take to orbit the sun?
• An awesome (but relevant) picture for the front of the postcard.

Activity - Quiz Time!

You will be making a quiz about all the information you have learnt about the solar system this week.

1. Go to Google Forms.
2. With a buddy from your reading group, create a quiz for your classmates about the texts you have read this week.
3. Your quiz should be at least 10 questions long.
4. Choose a variety of question types (short answer, multi-choice, etc)
5. For some questions your classmates will need to search for answers in the texts.
6. Make sure at least one of your questions asks your classmate for their opinion / thoughts on something you have read. Is there a common opinion in your group?
7. Take a screen shot of your quiz and post to Seesaw. You will need to share the link individually with your classmates.
