'y' Endings
Tasks
The slides have been updates. You may need to download the slides again to complete the new tasks.
Task 1.
- On a google docs make a list of all the words you can think of ending with Y. Make sure you number them you need at least 15.
- Share this doc with a buddy and see if they can work out how the Y is affected when the tense changes or when theres more than one.
- Some words such as 'Try' will have 3 other words next to it such as trying, tried, tries.
- Use a different font or colour when completing your buddies worksheet..

Success Criteria;
- When Y is at the end of a word, it is usually changes when the plural or tense changes
- Know when to add an 's'
- Know when to keep the 'y' and ad 'ing'

- We are going to make our own flash cards to help us practice your Y endings
- If you have a account with quizlet , you may make a online set of flash cards
- Or you can use an A4 sheet of paper.
Task 3
- Practice using your own flash cards.

- Practice spelling them out loud
- Get a buddy to test you
