Activity- Drama Option

  • Your task is to rewrite Beauty and the Beast using your storyboards. Your storyboard should help you create a new script and drama for a fairy tale told from that characters point of view but still based on Beauty and The Beast.
  • In your drama you will need to use the drama elements to ensure your drama is exciting.
  • Groups of 8 ish people

Activity- Dance Option

  • Your task is create a dance about Beauty and the Beast using your storyboards point of view. Your storyboard should be used to create a dance for Beauty and the Beast based on that characters point of view.
  • Your dance routine must incorporate the elements of dance and show locomotor movements and non-locomotor movements.
  • Watch the slide to learn about locomotor movements and non-locomotor movements.
  • You may use a narrator to read over your dance/prompt your dance.

Week 5, 6 & 7

By now you should have created and finished your storyboards and scripts. It's time to start practicing.

You will be performing to the Juniors in Week 8.
