Look in the story to find these tricky words:

2) What does a sculptor do?

3) How does Stavros get the materials for his art?

4) What is art? What is it's purpose?

5) Using materials found in the playground, create a sculpture of your own. (Don't pick anything off of the trees!) Take a picture that explain how you can create art with found objects. Post it on Seesaw. (If you want to go outside check with the teacher first)

Task 3 :

a) Read the poem maggie and milly and molly and may - by e.e. cummings. Find it written here.

E E Cummings is famous for writing poems that are a snapshot of a moment, like someone has taken a photograph.

Draw the moment the poet is writing about. Take a photo of your picture, paste the poem under it, and post it on Seesaw.
