Read the text and complete the follow up activities.

You can work in buddies (2 people) or by yourself to complete this activity.

  • Read the story on Little Read Riding Hood
  • Complete the Creating a Character Activity.
  • Create a Wanted Poster for one of the characters from Little Red Riding Hood and post to Seesaw.
  • You can choose to do this on a Google Drawing or get some paper from the art cupboard to make make your wanted poster. (click on WANTED POSTER at the top of the text box).

Make a checklist of how to be kind to others.

Present your checklist in an interesting way.

Choose an article and respond to the recall and thinking questions.

Monday and Tuesday

WALT: skim and scan for information.

WALT: summarise information.

Success Criteria:

  • Read the fact sheets.
  • Summarise the key information on the feather template.

Instructions

  • In pairs get your feather templates.
  • Read the information and answer the questions on the feather template.
  • Cut out the template and glue onto a coloured piece of paper.

Wednesday and Thursday

Work through the Maori History work in pairs or a group of three.
