At the end of year 9, students have the opportunity to select the subject they wish to study in key stage 4. All students are required to study a minimum of 9 subjects​.

All students have to study English language, English Literature, Mathematics and at least combined Science​ and at least 1 of a History or Geography.

Students can have a guided free choice beyond these subjects from the approved qualifications list.
