The aim of the art department at FPA is to enable every student to develop skills, confidence and creativity in order to achieve their full potential. All students are provided with the opportunity to follow a challenging, supportive and personalised learning programme to suit their individual needs as learners. They will study the work of other artists, designers, and crafts people, to understand the way creative industries can impact our everyday lives. Through investigation and understanding they will also explore the work from other cultures and art history. Throughout the Key Stages students will develop skills across a broad range of creative processes using both 2D and 3D media.
