NGRT testing
The New Group Reading Test, NGRT is an online, adaptive assessment that requires no preparation. All students will complete this test in early September, and again at the end of the year in June. The test is completed on a chromebook, using headphones, under exam conditions.
We are committed to enabling all our learners to fully access our curriculum and to reach their full potential. Understanding their current reading ability is fundamental to this. It is a standardised assessment that reliably measures reading skills against the national average so that we can target interventions to support and challenge learners in the most useful way.

Granada Learning (GL) are the leading provider of formative assessments to schools across the UK and Ireland. Detailed reports analyse key dimensions of learning for each subject and provide a question-by-question breakdown to help identify those students who require more challenging targets and those who may need extra support. The test is completed on a chromebook, using headphones, under exam conditions.
