School Day

The Academy Day 2023/2024

Students are expected to arrive at the Academy before 08:40 each day. Students arriving after this time will be considered late, and will be issued with detentions the same day.

The school day for Years 07 - 10 and Year 12 and Year 13, starts at 08:45 and ends at 15:10. This basic structure will be adapted to provide additional learning time for students in Y11, Y12 and Y13.

Period 02 | 10:05 - 11:20

Morning Break | 11:20 - 11:40

Reading Period | 11:40 - 12:00

Period 3 | 12:00 - 13:15

Lunch Break | 13:15 - 13:55

Period 4 | 13:55 - 15:10

Year 11/13 students have a different timetable for there day. The school day for Year 11 starts at 08:00 and ends at 16:30. Students in year 11 - 13 involved in tuition during period 0 will be expected to arrive before 8:00am. This allows for additional learning in preparation for their GCSEs.
